One of Norway’s classic ice-cream brands Crème (previously known as Crème Chocolat), has gone through a major face lift this year. The design transformation has been made with regards to the traditions and brand values of Hennig-Olsen ice cream factory. It was important for Charlotte not only to meet the briefs requirements but also that the ice cream would end up looking tempting with as much flavor as possible. Therefore the running chocolate from the top is a key design element in addition to the ice cream being portrayed front on in portrait view. No other ice cream in Norway is portrayed in full frontal view. What you see is what you get, literally! The brand name logotype Crème, has had a facelift from it's early predecessor from 2001. To honor the traditional look people were familiar with from years ago has now been brought back and given new life and design. Voted as the best tasting ice cream among many Norwegians, the new design reflects all the good flavour you can expect from an ice cream by the Hennig-Olsen ice cream factory. To add a a touch of extra indulgence, the ribbon that wraps itself around the ice cream lifts the design for a premium feeling. Another important key design element and the finishing touch is the Hennig-Olsen ice cream cup from the logo branded into each Ice cream stick! An increase in sales results have proven the new design to be a flying success. Charlotte was responsible for developing the concept and the design as the leader on the team, and she designed this at BrandHouse Design.
